Where do you travel to?

Your destination is important for the diameter of the satellite dish antenna. The further you go, the bigger the satellite dish antenna needs to be for an optimal signal and image quality.

• Are you nog going further then the North of Spain? Then a satellite dish antenna of 65cm will do.
• Do you go further then the North of Spain? Then we recommend a satellite dish antenna of at least 85cm.

Manual or automatic?

Next to the diameter there's is a large difference in the selection of dishes: manual dishes or automatic satellite dish antenna systems.

• Manual satellite dish antennas are opened by hand and are pointed at the right satellite by help of a pendulum or rod at the inside of the camper or mobile home. The dish antenna is turned around in the right direction and pointed at the wished satellite with the help of a satfinder.
• Automatic satellite dish antenna systems are opened by a motor and search automatically to the best signal on the selected satellite. A few also have a skew function for an even better fine-tuning.
• But there are also semi-automatic satellite dish antennas which are opened by a motor, but need to pointed to the right satellite by hand.
