Travel Vision - mobile IPTV package (per month)

With this mobile IPTV solution, Travel Vision introduces a unique concept: watching TV via 4G (no satellite dish needed!), in high image quality and with low data consumption ('only' 0.6 GB per hour).
In combination with the Travel Vision mobile IPTV system, you can watch 20 (Dutch) channels, in as many as 40 European countries. Watching TV over the mobile network has never been so easy and affordable!

The Travel Vision mobile IPTV system is equipped with omnidirectional antennas that receive and transmit signals from all directions. The system can be used while stationary or in motion (while driving, boating).

.Watching TV over 3G / 4G (without a satellite dish)

Watching TV over a 3G/4G connection, without a satellite dish, is becoming increasingly popular. However, a good Internet connection is then a requirement. The available WiFi connection on campsites, or other locations, is often not sufficient in terms of speed. To watch TV via a mobile connection, in addition to the right equipment, a good Internet connection is required and a corresponding data plan is required. A disadvantage of watching TV via a mobile Internet connection is that it consumes relatively (still) much data and is therefore pricey and expensive (compared to watching TV via satellite, for example). On average 3GB* of data is consumed for 1 hour of watching TV or streaming via a mobile internet connection in HD quality. Another "disadvantage" is that most "unlimited" data subscriptions abroad are limited to a maximum of 20-25GB per month. In other words, after several nights of watching TV / streaming, the entire data bundle is already consumed.

With the Travel Vision mobile IPTV system, the data consumption for TV watching / streaming in HD quality is at 'only' 0.6GB per hour, or a factor of 5 lower! This makes watching/streaming TV over a mobile 3G/4G connection a lot more economical.

How does the Travel Vision mobile IPTV system work?

The Travel Vision mobile IPTV router features a fixed integrated SIM card with its own unique IP address. With this specially configured powerful router you can receive a specifically for the Dutch market composed channel package with 20 channels.

The Travel Vision mobile IPTV router is built into the vehicle. On the roof of the caravan, camper, boat or other vehicle an outdoor antenna is mounted, equipped with powerful omni-directional antennas to achieve the best possible 3G / 4G reception.

The Travel Vision mobile IPTV router is connected directly to the TV with an HDMI cable; this does not need to be a Smart TV. With just a push of a button on the included remote control you can watch television. You do not need to align a satellite dish, place an extra receiver and/or install a Chromecast or Android box to stream TV signal.

Your own wireless network

The IPTV router allows you to watch TV, but you also create your own wireless WiFi network at the same time. The sensitive 3G / 4G antennas effortlessly capture the signal from the mobile network, even if the signal is weaker. The powerful router then distributes a WiFi signal and creates your own wireless network. This allows you to have your own WiFi network when you travel, anytime and anywhere. This allows you to easily and securely connect all your devices such as cell phone, tablet, laptop and Smart TV to the Internet, just as if you were at home. This way you are no longer dependent on the often weak signal of the WiFi network at the campsite, harbor or other location.

TV and data subscription

The TV subscription is available in 3 variants, namely:

• annual subscription
• 3 month subscription (consecutive period)
• 1 month

To use the system, a data subscription is required in addition to a TV subscription.

On installation of the system, an EU data subscription is activated with a term of 2 years. This data subscription is based on a starting bundle of 25 GB on an annual basis. This 25 GB of data remains valid for one year and is good for +/- 42 hours of TV watching / streaming. If necessary, additional data bundles (on a monthly basis) can easily be ordered online at favorable rates.
