With your own satellite dish, you are sure to have secure internet at the campsite. For this you need the following components:

Satellite dishes and TRIA

You have a wide choice of satellite dishes of different sizes. The satellite dish or antenna is an essential part of Internet at the campsite, because it receives and transmits the signals. Our specialists will be happy to help you find the right dish. The TRIA (transmit and receive integrated assembly) is the part of the antenna you need to not only receive signals, but also transmit them.

Internet subscriptions

To take advantage of internet at the campsite, you need an internet subscription. At DeSchotelShop you will find various subscriptions from Tooway, Inmarsat and Iridium, starting from € 32,50 per month. You choose the required number of MBs and internet speed. So you can surf anywhere in Europe. The Inmarsat and Iridium subscriptions are intended for satellite telephony, internet is possible at a low speed (2 Kbps). With the Tooway subscriptions you can choose 15 or 30 Mbps.

Modem for a fast internet connection

A special modem for satellite Internet ensures that you have a faster Internet connection. This modem transmits the signals it receives from the satellite dish to your TV, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Installing Internet at the campsite

Our specialists are happy to handle the installation of your internet at the campsite, but with the help of our videos it is also easy to do it yourself. The satellite dish must have a clear view and you must set the tilt angle correctly to get a fast internet connection and satellite TV.
For the installation by DeSchotelShop you pay € 65, - per hour. On average we are 4 to 5 hours installing your satellite dish.

If you order for more than € 50, you pay no shipping costs within the Netherlands and Belgium. For dishes with a diameter larger than 80 cm we do charge shipping costs.
