Satellite targeting system from TELECO with 8 preprogrammed satellites in memory, including signal level display and electronic elevation angle indicator of the dish.

The DSF90/E model is suitable only for the TELECO dish systems Motosat Digimatic and Voyager Digimatic; these are equipped with a special electronic angle detector.

This sat finder has the following 8 satellites pre-programmed in its memory:

User's Guide Precision Direction System DSF90/E for Digital Satellites

1) Select the desired satellite (e.g. ASTRA 23).   2) Raise the dish until the elevation angle belonging to the area -where the vehicle is located- is reached (see the angle map).

3) Turn the dish to the SOUTH until the DSF80/E emits a continuous beep.   4) Wait for the SAT OK LED to illuminate to have confirmation that the satellite targeted is the selected satellite.

5) If a satellite other than the one selected is targeted, the SAT NOT OK LED lights up and the dish should be rotated again until a new beep is emitted and the SAT OK LED lights up.   6) The aiming should be optimized by slowly changing both the elevation angle and the rotation angle of the dish until at the LEVEL indication the maximum number of LEDs is lit.
