Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 battery with built-in BMS


Light weight, powerfull, safe and reliable Lithium Iron starter battery, available in 2 versions: 20Ah or 25Ah. This battery can be compared regarding performance with a lead-acid battery capacity of 70 up to 100Ah, provided the maximum current of the alternator does not exceed the maximum charging capacity of 66A. Suitable for 12V systems and use in extreme environments.

With a weight of 3.7 kg (7.94 lb) for the 20Ah version or 4.7 kg (10.36 lbs) for the 25Ah version, this starter battery has up to 80% less weight compared to the traditional lead-acid batteries. Also the size is 'only' 1/3 of the size of a conventional battery. This improves not only the performance of your vehicle (or vessel), it helps also saving you on fuel consumption. The starter battery offers a high power level, is charged very fast and has a long, maintenance free lifespan. The battery has also a stabile and flat discharge; this means that over 80% of the capacity of the battery is available.

The starter battery has a built-in Battery Management System (BMS); this BMS guarantees a high safety level during use of the battery. The BMS controls continuously the status of the individual battery elements, like cell temperature, cell voltage and th cahrge- and discharge voltages. The integrated BMS offers also cell balancing.

Super B batteries are based on Lithium Iron Phosphate technology (LiFePO4) and contain no lead. This is the most safe Lithium technology nowerdays available. Above that the custom-made housing and electronics improve the saety and sustainablity of the battery even more. Because of the protection class (IP67) of the 12V 25Ah version this battery is even dust and waterproof; this makes this battery even can be used in the most extreme environments like for instance motorsport, motor vehicles, the automotive industry and shipping.
