This (original) Starlink Ethernet Adapter allows you to add an Ethernet port to your Starlink antenna. This is because the WiFi router that comes standard with the Gen 2 antenna kits does not have an Ethernet port. So if external devices need to be connected to the Starlink internet, via a wired connection instead of WiFi, the Starlink Ethernet adapter is required.
The Starlink Ethernet Adapter is compatible with the following Starlink antenna kits:
- Gen 2 Standard Kit
- Gen 2 (Flat) High Performance Kit*

* Although the Ethernet adapter is compatible with the (Flat) High Performance antenna, it is basically not needed for these antennas; a cable is normally included with these kits, which allows the antenna to be connected directly to a third-party router, switch or other network device with an RJ45 connector.
