Bereik Selfsat Snipe 2 With the Snipe 2, Selfsat has the successor to the very popular Snipe planar antenna. The Selfsat Snipe 2 features a stronger and quieter motor and also has an improved antenna locking and positioning system, giving it a longer service life. The mechanics of the Snipe 2 have also been thoroughly redesigned, making it more robust as well.

And with the new, improved controller, equipped with LCD screen and USB port, operating the Selfsat Snipe 2 is even easier. The desired satellite can be found at the touch of a button. Also updating the software is now conveniently done through the USB port.

The Se;fsat Snipe 2 is equipped with the latest HD search technology. With this you are guaranteed to be able to lock the satellite in the future. The Selfsat Snipe 2 uses 3 pre-programmed HD search frequencies per satellite. These can be adjusted, if necessary, by an update via USB on the controller.

	Strong motor The Selfsat Snipe 2 features a new strong and also quiet(er) motor. With its 18:1 gear ratio, the Snipe 2 offers very high power.

	Antenna locking and positioning system The renewed locking and positioning system keeps the planar antenna firmly in place even when the camper, caravan or truck is driving. The Selfsat Snipe 2 comes with an aluminum mounting plate and convenient carrying case, allowing you to mount it either freestanding or permanently on the roof of your vehicle.

	New mechanism The gear housing is aluminum die-cast and supports the drive shafts of the Selfsat Snipe 2; it therefore has a durable and long(er) life.

	User-friendly controller The Selfsat Snipe 2 features a completely new and user-friendly(er) innovative controller. Equipped with an LCD screen and USB port. This makes operating the Snipe 2 even easier. With the push of a button the desired satellite is found. The controller can be mounted in the camper or caravan or truck or used separately. The USB connection on the controller makes it possible to upgrade -in case of (software) changes- via a USB stick within seconds. Thus, the antenna does not have to be disassembled for this purpose. In addition, the controller displays the various (satellite) details for optimal use.

	Auto Skew function Via the integrated Auto Skew function, the Selfsat Snipe 2 can be aligned even more precisely, giving you an even better signal yield. In other words, the highest quality in terms of HDTV. The skew setting may vary depending on the country you are visiting, as your position relative to the satellite is different.

	Carrying case + mounting plate The Selfsat Snipe 2 comes in a handy carrying case and a mounting plate. Depending on your wishes, you can either place the Selfsat Snipe 2 wherever you want to ensure the best signal reception or mount it on the roof of your camper, caravan or truck. The mounting set supplied as standard consists of: a mounting plate, coaxial cable, a waterproof cable grommet and screws.

	Preprogrammed + own satellites The Selfsat Snipe 2 has a number of pre-programmed satellites as standard: Astra 1 (19.2º), Astra 3 (23.5º), Astra 2 (28.5º) and Hotbird (13.0º). A total of 9 satellites are pre-programmed. You can add another 3 satellites yourself, via the controller.

	GPS function The built-in GPS function automatically transmits your GPS coordinates and determines the elevation angle faster. The Selfsat Snipe 2 therefore finds the correct position very quickly.
