Product description
Limited availability!
The new range of Oyster® 70 Vision is available with a 70 cm satellite dish and is suitable for roof mounting on your motorhome or caravan. Available in an attractive anthracite color. And with a folded height of "only" 17.5 cm, this series is among the lowest in its class. Via a clever new construction, the curved feed arm is space-saving, the maximum height is 17.5cm when folded. This also applies to the Twin version of the Oyster 70 Vision.
The unique feature of the Oyster® 70 Vision is the fact that only 1 cable is needed to connect this automatic satellite dish. Through this one cable goes both the satellite signal, and the power supply.
Another convenient option of the Oyster 70 Vision is the connection to your own smartphone. Through a special App of Oyster you can not only operate the dish, but also receive any software or other updates. Pure user convenience!
The Oyster 70 Vision has a 70 cm dish blade; this gives you reception of Canal Digital or TV Flanders to large parts of Europe.
The Oyster 70 Vision can be combined with any satellite receiver or TV with built-in DVB-S2 satellite tuner.

Easy operation by choice
The "brain" of the Oyster® is the control unit, the FeatureBox. It makes calculations and has a controlling function. With the Vision variant, you communicate with the FeatureBox via the included control panel. Thanks to the mobile app, you can also control the FeatureBox with your smartphone. You have the most important control functions at your disposal and can, for example, also switch the antenna on or off from outside, change satellites or have the system settings displayed.
So the FeatureBox can do more and yet has become slimmer.
Don't search but find
The Oyster® always knows where the satellites are. So annoying all-round scans are not necessary. The system positions itself flawlessly in relation to the satellite. The reason for this technological lead is the interplay of three components: GPS, 3D compass and inclination sensor.
The GPS system determines the location, the 3D compass establishes in which direction your car (and thus the antenna) is pointing, the inclination sensor identifies any inclination of the car and controls the exact compensation movement of the antenna. In particular, the slope of the car is often underestimated. A few degrees can cause significant interference. Much more than, for example, the difference in height between the position of the car on a mountain or in a valley.
Deal well with changes
Very annoying if the technical characteristics of the satellite signals suddenly change, you are on vacation somewhere in Europe and suddenly nothing works anymore. Often, the only thing that helps is an update. Oyster technicians program these very quickly, but they still have to upload them to your satellite antenna.
Your Oyster® receives online updates via your smartphone (or via USB stick). This is not a nice toy, but extremely functional.
The update is sent directly to your cell phone and loaded into the satellite dish system from there. You can download a free app for your Oyster®, which offers a whole range of other useful options in addition to the update function. For example, Oyster informs you immediately if a change in satellite characteristics is detected. You then know the cause of the failure and receive an update as soon as possible to correct the problem.
Your phone is connected to the Oyster® control via the app. If a technical fault occurs, it can usually be diagnosed with the Oyster® app. This data can then be sent to customer service.
One cable is one cable

When we talk about a "1-cable solution," that's what it is. An additional power cable is not needed (anymore). A special coaxial cable is used for both the control, as well as the power supply and for the signal transmission from the outdoor unit.
Mounting is thus only a "minimally-invasive operation." One small hole is sufficient.
Naturally, a second coaxial cable is included in the TWIN version.
Optional equipment (optional):
- TWIN: the Twin version allows you to connect a 2nd TV, allowing you to watch satellite TV in 2 places -independent of each other- in your motorhome or caravan
