The heart of the Oyster Cytrac DX® is its innovative antenna technology, which ensures a wide reception range. This reception technology consists of 1016 antennas linked together but separate, arranged in a comb shape. The result is a significant improvement in the reception range, by even several hundred kilometers, compared to an equally sized planar antenna.

The Oyster Cytrac DX® automatic satellite dish is "only" 14 cm high, and thanks to its compact design, it fits on the roof of almost any vehicle. The robust outer unit made of die-cast aluminum rotates only when open, saving a lot of space. A special mechanical stiffening makes the Oyster Cytrac DX® resistant to strong gusts of wind. Even a hailstorm leaves no damage thanks to the surfaces made of highly weather-resistant PC-ASA plastic. A separate hail guard is therefore no longer necessary.

The Oyster Cytrac DX® automatic planar antenna is easy and intuitive to operate and aligns itself to the desired satellite completely independently. By default, the planar antenna is equipped with a Single LNB for 1 TV connection. Optionally, the planar antenna is also available with a Twin LNB for connecting 2 TVs or satellite receivers.
