The ASR 850 from Mecatronic is a compact automatic satellite TV system based on an 80/85 cm dish antenna. During development, special attention was paid to the dimensions and total weight of this solution.

It comes standard with an LCD control panel, where one can choose from 15 different -preprogrammed- satellite positions.

The special feature of the ASR 850 is that you can -with the hand- very easily adjust the skew; very useful for reception of the Astra 3 satellite in for example southern Spain or Portugal.

By placing the satellite dish close to the roof window, one can manually adjust the LNB via the gear wheel at the bottom of the LNB. The cogwheel has a degree distribution with which one can simply change the Skew. If you let the dish search again, it also then also finds the satellite directly in "difficult places" as the Algarve.

Optionally, the ASR 850 from Mecatronic is also available with automatic Skew function (at extra cost). This version has a GPS that not only measures the Skew but also the position and therefore immediately corrects the angle of inclination so that the satellite is quickly found. For this to work properly, it is important that the green wire is connected! Should your dish / automatic Skew not work properly, check if your installer has connected this wire properly!
