The Internet connection available during your vacation or trip across Europe can often be disappointing. Many times the 4G/5G signal on your smartphone is weak or even non-existent, especially if you are in a remote location. Even the WiFi connection available at the campsite or port often leaves much to be desired and shared with many. The result is a poor and slow Internet connection, which often makes surfing the Internet or streaming a TV program hardly or not possible.

The Maxview Roam X solution uses a powerful external, roof-mounted antenna and an internal router. The solution is a reliable and secure WiFi hotspot for your RV, caravan, boat, yacht or ship. The Maxview solution is unique in that the Roam X helps you get better Internet in two ways.

• 4G/5G signal - the main purpose of the Roam X is to use a 4G/5G signal to get a WiFi connection; this is the Maxview Roam X's most powerful and fastest solution. With the 4G/5G LTE antenna, the signal is so strong that you can have an Internet connection where your smartphone, for example, cannot manage it.
• WiFi hotspot - in addition, the Maxview Roam X can also be used to connect to a usable WiFi hotspot. This solution uses the powerful internal antenna on the Maxview Roam X Router. Data usage on your SIM card can be minimized this way, provided a reliable WiFi source is available.

A 4G/5G solution is generally the fastest and most stable Internet connection, but in some cases a WiFi hotspot can be convenient. When this is the case, you do not need to use up your 4G/5G data and can switch to a WiFi hotspot.

.The Maxview Roam X solution is designed so that it can be combined with (almost) any data provider; this makes it possible to use the network that is most suitable for you! So even your current provider can be used, based on your existing SIM card. It often pays off -when planning a trip- to include national or European coverage in the comparison in addition to price and usage.

If you plan to go to Scotland, for example, EE's coverage is often considered superior, while Vodafone and T-mobile are again more popular if you are traveling within mainland Europe.

Check the limitations of your network provider and data SIM therefore; especially when traveling abroad, we believe you should pay attention to factors such as: the number of days abroad, usage and limitations of roaming partners. We recommend having a spare SIM card with you while abroad that does not expire if not used. Then you will always have a backup with you!
