Iridium Maritime Certus 200 - Annual Volume Allowance Plan, per annum

Iridium Maritime Certus is a new satellite communications / Internet network from Iridium. This new network is fully compatible with Iridium's existing network and existing Iridium devices. With 66 new operational satellites, Certus has significantly increased capacity and capabilities in terms of data communication via satellite and internet capabilities via satellite. Both on land and at sea.

The Iridium Maritime Certus 100 / 200, Volume Allows Plan consists of:

• A minimum duration of 1 month;
• The minimum (calculated) call duration is 20 seconds. Increments are also based on 20 seconds.
• The minimum (calculated) duration for data streaming is 6 seconds / 5 KB. Increments are also based on 6 seconds / 0.1 KB.
• The minimum (calculated) IP consumption* is 0.005 MB. Increments also go on the basis of 0.0001 MB.

** = Where available, Local Number Access offers Iridium subscribers a phone number for the local country code assigned to the Iridium Certus terminal for incoming calls at a reduced rate. Call charges for incoming calls using the Iridium subscriber's Local Number Access number are billed through the Iridium terminal. The calling party pays his or her provider only the applicable rate for a call to the country code of the local number. Data & SMS services are not supported through the Local Number Access service. Local Number Access is only available on a postpaid service basis. At launch, Local Number Access will only be available for the US Country Code. Other countries may follow in the future. Iridium reserves the right to charge a nominal rate for additional countries as they become available.
*** = Certus Maritime Annual 600 MB and Certus Maritime Annual 1,200 MB are also available for Certus 350/700 terminals. Annual plans are not available for Certus 100 terminals.

1. Rates are in EUR. Iridium reserves the right to change or adjust rates. All rates quoted are subject to change, without notice. Iridium reserves the right to adjust prices/rates in accordance with fluctuations in exchange rates and supplier price increases.
2. Monthly fees are charged in advance apart from the initial monthly fee, which is charged in arrears. Initial monthly charges/fees are calculated pro rata based on the number of active days. Final monthly charges are not included regardless of deactivation date for all Iridium Certus subscriptions.
3. Unused balances are not carried over month after month.
4. Reactivation fees apply to all Iridium SIM Card types. No downgrade or reactivation fees apply when switching between data plans, with the exception of penalties applicable when a commitment period of longer duration is purchased.
5. If the terminal is disconnected before the end of the terminal's minimum commitment period, early termination charges apply. For completeness, the full early termination fee remains even if the terminal is disconnected "only" 3 days before the end of the commitment period.
6. The VSAT Companion Plan can only be used as a secondary complementary service integrated with an associated VSAT subscription. It is not intended as a primary means of communication.
7. The service provider should ensure that equipment, in all cases, is configured to route all data communications through the service provider's VSAT service whenever possible and ensure that the VSAT Companion service is used for data communications only when such VSAT service is not available due to atmospheric conditions, network conditions, and/or VSAT terminal maintenance or connection problems. For clarification, the VSAT Companion service will not be used as the primary means of communication for day-to-day operations.
8. Iridium reserves the right to interrupt or suspend, temporarily or otherwise, the Iridium VSAT Companion service to any subscriber(s), with simultaneous notification to the service provider, at any time and during the period in which it is determined that an installation or program task has not been performed in accordance with the stated conditions. Further, Iridium reserves the right to suspend and/or deactivate all VSAT Companion subscribers with immediate effect and with simultaneous notice to Service Provider at any time that such service is determined to pose a threat to the integrity of the network or the ability to serve other customers.
9. Service Provider shall ensure that all VSAT communications are managed in accordance with Iridium's Fair Access Policy.
10. Prohibited uses and activities include, but are not limited to, using the Service to:
    Conduct Restrictions: access peer-to-peer file sharing (including but not limited to LimeWire, BitTorrent, Shareaza, Kazaa, iMesh, e-Donkey, DirectConnection, Open FT, Gnutella, FastTrack, Napster); Download music, full-length movies and videos via services similar to Netflix, Amazon Direct, Pandora and YouTube; Accessing unauthorized VoIP services, including but not limited to Skype; Hosting server devices such as email, FTP or web servers; Hosting computer applications such as web-cam feeds and PC backup services on the Internet that archive your data on a central server; or Engaging in any enterprising or unlawful purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, transmitting or distributing information, data or material that in any way causes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, or otherwise pose a risk to any local, state, federal or non-U.S. law, order or regulation.
    Network and usage restrictions: restricting, obstructing, or otherwise interfering, regardless of intent, with the purpose of allowing another person to use the service; or restricting, obstructing, interfering with, or otherwise disrupting or causing a performance degradation, regardless of intent, of the service or any other Iridium network.
11. Iridium prefers to notify customers of inappropriate activity and give them a reasonable time to take corrective action. However, if the Service is used in such a manner that Iridium believes, in its sole discretion, to be in violation of the Policy, Iridium may take any responsive action it deems appropriate under the circumstances, with or without notice. Such actions include, but are not limited to, the immediate suspension or termination of all or any part of the service. Neither Iridium nor its dealers shall have any liability for these responsive actions. These actions are not Iridium's exclusive remedies and Iridium may take any other legal or technical action it deems appropriate with or without notice.
12. Switching from one annual plan to another while the initial annual period is still in progress requires the prior written approval of both DeSchotelShop and Iridium.
13. Certus 200 terminals can support up to 3 phone lines and Streaming speeds up to 128 kbps.
14. Certus 100 terminals do not currently support annual plans.
