IRIDIUM GO! exec

The Iridium GO! exec is a portable, wireless satellite Internet communications access device for smartphones, tablets and laptops. Combined with the Iridium Certus® 100 midband service, it enables Wi-Fi connectivity for selected messaging, e-mail, social media, weather, and light web browsing apps, as well as simultaneous access to two high-quality call lines for conversations with friends, family, and colleagues.

The Iridium GO! exec is based on the so-called L-band frequency and therefore offers a more stable and weatherproof connection than comparable satellite Internet communication solutions based on the KA/KU band.

The new Iridium Go! exec version is, compared to the Iridium GO! improved in terms of speed, among other things, making it suitable for light web browsing, offers access to Twitter and communication via apps such as WhatsApp. The speeds users can now expect are: 88 Kbps of download speeds 22 Kbps of upload speeds, while the original Iridium Go! model has a maximum speed of 2.4Kbps.

This lightweight and compact device offers portable both personal and "office" connectivity, combining the features of a battery-powered Wi-Fi device with the functionality of an Iridium® satellite phone. Users can make phone calls directly through the built-in speakerphone and microphone or connect wirelessly to the Iridium GO! exec provided the smartphone stays within a radius of up to 30 m (100 f) from the Iridium GO! exec.
