Own Wi-Fi network in and around campervan, boat or caravan

The Alfa Network CampPro2 V2 Wi-Fi set is a complete Wi-Fi solution for use in camping or around RVs, caravans or boat (in the harbor). The WiFi-Camp Pro2 V2 wifi extender & router is the successor of the popular WiFi-Camp Pro2 from manufacturer Alfa Network and is even faster than its predecessor!

This set is particularly useful, if the existing WiFi signal -at the location- is not strong enough. For example, during your vacation at the campsite or in the (yacht) harbor. The Alfa Network CampPro2 V2 WiFi set makes it possible to receive a signal. The wifi extender and router captures the internet signal offered by the campsite or a hotspot and distributes it with its own powerful router. You have your own wireless network around your RV, caravan or boat.

Up to 2 times as fast: 300 Mbps

The new R36A router (802.11n ) in the WiFi-Camp Pro2 V2 achieves double the bandwidth compared to the previous model: up to a whopping 300 Mbps. Perfect for enjoying audio and video over the Internet with several users and devices at the same time, for example.

Sensitive 9 dBi antenna Tube-UNA

The WiFi-Camp Pro2 V2 has a sensitive omni-directional 9 dBi antenna, which receives the offered Wi-Fi signal. The antenna is designed for outdoor use, you mount it outside on or to your RV, boat or tent. We recommend sealing the connection between the Omni antenna and Tube-UNA with the included water-repellent tape. Note: This set cannot handle the 4G antenna from Alfa network, the present R36A router can only handle the Tube-UNA and is therefore only for the supply of WiFi signal.

12V connection cable included as standard.

Compared to its predecessor, there is another important difference. Previously the 12V connection cable was optional, with the WiFi-Camp Pro2 V2 the cable is included as standard.

Compatible with PEAP and EAPMSCHAPV-2

Using internet hotspots is no problem at all. You connect the WiFi-Camp Pro2 V2 wifi extender/router to a hotspot and wirelessly connect all your devices to the Internet.

Open source router software (OpenWRT)

Alfa Network has updated the chipset, the R36A's router software is the Linux-based OpenWRT open source software. This software offers programmers, wizzkids and other enthusiasts opportunities to modify it, of course entirely at their own risk.

Please note that the included router cannot be used stand-alone. The separately available R36A router has slightly different specifications and can be used stand-alone.
