Samlex Switch Mode battery charger - 45, 60 or 80A

The Samlex Switch Mode battery charger is available in 3 variants:

• SEC-1245E
• SEC-1260E
• SEC-1280E

The Samlex Switch Mode SEC-1245E / SEC-1260E / SEC-1280E battery charger is suitable for 12V batteries and are high power, 3 stage battery chargers that can respectively deliver 45, 60 or 80A for almost 75% to 80% of the charging cycle. The Samlex Switch Mode SEC-1245E / SEC-1260E / SEC-1280E battery charger is suitable for all types of 12V batteries and can also be used as a direct current power source.

The Samlex battery charger is protected against overload, short circuit and reverse polarity and can charge up to 2 separate batteries at the same time.

• It is possible to limit the maximum charging current to about half of the maximum current capacity during "Half Power Mode". This allows batteries with a lower capacity to be charged safely.
• Temperature-compensated charging using an optional battery temperature sensor (Model TF-500).
• 2 batteries or battery banks can be charged simultaneously without having to use an external battery isolator. The charging current will be distributed over both banks depending on how far they are discharged.
• 3 color LEDs indicate the status.
• Fan-cooled - fan on/off based on the height of the output current.
• Protected against short circuit, too high current, reverse battery polarity and too high temperature.
• Can be used as a power supply or as a DC UPS (Un-interruptible Power Supply) together with a battery.
• Optional remote control (Model RC-900) with LED charging indication and on/off switch. This comes with a 10m cable.
