Rebox RE-8401UHD S-PVR 4K Android satellite receiver

The Rebox RE-8401 is an Android-based 4K UHD satellite receiver and, due to its 12V support, suitable for use in the caravan or motorhome. The Rebox RE-8401 has a Single DVB-S2 satellite tuner, with PVR functionality.

This Rebox receiver can travel with the latest CAM modules, including the CAM803 and/or CAM701, from Canal Digitaal, TV Vlaanderen and Telesat. Using the fast scan function, the channel lists of these providers, via Astra 1 and 3, can be read in. And via both manual and automatic scans, it is easy to keep favourite channels up-to-date.

One of the striking features of the Rebox RE-8401 is the ability to watch live television and make recordings at the same time, provided these channel(s) are broadcast via the same transponder. This can be easily and quickly set via EPG or by using the record button. The recordings can be stored on a Micro SD card (up to 128GB) and are playable on other devices, such as PCs, laptops and tablets.

A Bluetooth remote control is included as standard, which makes operating this Rebox satellite receiver very easy; there is no need to specifically aim the remote control at the receiver to change channels, for example. During installation of the RE-8401, the remote control can be paired with the TV remote control, for example, allowing basic TV functions, such as on/off and volume, to be controlled with the same remote control.

Internet is also supported by this Android Rebox receiver, for being able to install all kinds of apps via the Play store. Keep in mind that the manufacturer's support is limited to the rbxTV app.
