With the Quantis CI+ 1.3 module (TV module) you can enjoy HDTV via your cable. The module is suitable for 1.2 and 1.3 certified television sets. However, if you use a 1.2 TV, you cannot use Ziggo's Interactive Television.
The Quantis Interactive CI+ 1.3 module is prepared for Ziggo's Interactive Television (ITV). Interactive Television via the module has been available since the fall of 2013. With Interactive Television, in addition to Digital Television (DTV), you can also order movies and series and watch missed broadcasts at Ziggo.
The module is delivered in a handy and compact packaging with clear instructions.
What is needed to watch Digital Television (DTV) via the CI+ module?
- A CI+ 1.3 / CI+ 1.2 certified television (for use of Ziggo's Interactive Television a certified CI+ 1.3 television is needed, see www.ziggo.nl/interactievemodule)
- A Quantis CI+ module
- One (or more) smartcard(s) from the TV provider
