Nowadays, the internet on a campsite is indispensable for many people. You can read the news online, Skype with the kids or send an e-mail. Many campsites have Wi-Fi, but a secure connection is no guarantee and the speed often leaves much to be desired. With a satellite dish, you have fast internet as well as television and radio. Installing the satellite dish on your caravan or camper van is easy to complete yourself, but you can also ask our specialists.

Complete set for internet at the campsite

With your own satellite dish you can be sure that you have safe internet at the campsite. For this you will need the following parts:

You will find two complete sets in our range for using the internet at the campsite. You can also choose from about 50 separate components and subscriptions for internet via the dish.

Satellite dishes and TRIA

You have a wide choice of satellite dishes of different sizes. The satellite dish or antenna is an essential part of the internet at the campsite, because it receives and sends the signals. Our specialists are happy to help you selecting the right dish. The TRIA (transmit and receive integrated assembly) is the part of the antenna that you need to not only receive signals, but also send them.

Internet subscriptions

To benefit from internet at the campsite, you need an internet subscription. At DeSchotelShop, you will find various subscriptions from Tooway, Inmarsat and Iridium, starting from €32.50 per month. You choose the required number of MBs and the internet speed yourself. So you can surf anywhere in Europe. The Inmarsat and Iridium subscriptions are intended for satellite telephony, internet access is possible at a low speed (2 Kbps). With the Tooway subscriptions, you can choose 15 or 30 Mbps.

Modem for a fast internet connection

A special modem for satellite internet ensures that you have a faster internet connection. This modem forwards the signals it receives from the satellite dish to your TV, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Install internet at the campsite

Our specialists are happy to install your internet at the campsite, but with the help of our videos it is also easy to do yourself. The satellite dish must have a clear view and you must adjust the tilt angle appropriately to ensure a high-speed Internet connection and to receive satellite tv.

You pay €75 per hour for installation by TheDishAntennaShop. On average, it takes us 4 to 5 hours to install your satellite dish.

If you order for more than €50, you will not pay shipping costs within the Netherlands and Belgium. We do charge shipping costs for dishes with a diameter larger than 80 cm. You have 14 days to return ordered products.
