Product description

The Megasat Shipman GPS/Autoskew is a fully automatic satellite dish antenna for receiving satellite television and suitable for any vehicle on road or water*. With just the push of a button, the antenna automatically aligns itself to the desired satellite. This happens within 1 to 2 minutes. The advantage of this dish is that it continues to align itself optimally to the desired satellite even while driving or sailing. Thanks to the integrated AutoSkew system the reflection (polarization) of the signal can be optimized. This assures you of excellent signal strength/quality throughout Europe. The Shipman GPS/AutoSkew also has a GPS location determination system, with which your location can be determined.

The plastic housing protects the dish against weather influences and damage. The dish works even under extreme weather conditions. The Shipman has a universal Single LNB, on which one satellite receiver (via the control unit) can be connected.

*Please note: the Megasat Shipman is not suitable for saltwater / sea. The Shipman is intended for fresh water.

CAUTION: the Shipman is not (anymore) suitable for the reception of Canal Digital / TV Flanders via the Astra 3 satellite. The diameter of the dish is too small for this.

	Full automatic dish With a fully automatic dish, you have all the comforts of home. With the push of a button, the dish aligns itself to your selected satellite.
	AutoSkew The Skew on a dish antenna is required to precisely align the dish with the satellite both horizontally and vertically. Each satellite is positioned at a different height. Thanks to the Auto Skew function, reception can be optimized. The dish skew setting varies depending on your location on earth. For a dish with auto skew function, the dish will automatically determine the Skew settings.
	Tracking system The advanced tracking system also allows you to receive signal during ride or sail. The dish continues to track your selected satellite.
	GPS location determination A dish with GPS position determination is fast in aligning to your selected satellite. Using your GPS coordinates, dish settings, such as the azimuth value and required elevation angle, can be determined.
