With an NDS SOLENERGY solar panel, you have your own free power supply based on daylight. With a solar panel you generate your own (free) energy in all weather conditions. In this way, you will never again be dependent on the power supply at a campsite, motor home site or port. You will always have your own clean energy with you for powering all your devices.

Solar panels, standard with mounting brackets

The SOLENERGY photovoltaic modules with integrated mounting brackets deliver the highest performance. Each module features monocrystalline silicon cells protected by a Tedlar layer. The highly transparent tempered and textured glass, with low iron content and an anti-reflection coating, improves efficiency by up to 17.25%. The ultra-thin vacuum-applied EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) top and bottom layers provide optimal protection for the solar panel.

The SOLENERGY series of solar panels are -optionally- available with a maximum power rating of 85W, 100W, 120W, 150W or 175W. The 100W version is available in 2 different versions: a 'normal' version and a 'very narrow' version. The yield of the narrow version is equal to other 100W solar panels; only the dimensions are different, which makes them even easier to install on the roof of your camper, caravan or aboard your boat.

Easy to install:

The NDS SOLENERGY solar panels come standard with a 6-meter-long cable and integrated mounting brackets; this makes installing these solar panels on the roof of your RV or caravan (or aboard your boat) incredibly easy. The dark solar panels give a nice(er) look to the roof of your RV, caravan or boat.

Please note: Optionally, it is possible to expand the NDS SOLENERGY solar panel with an 'installation kit', consisting of: a (waterproof) roof grommet set and an MPPT Suncontrol2 NBUS (inverter).

Quality

SOLENERGY solar panels all meet the strictest quality standards and safety requirements, in accordance with IEC61215, IEC61730 and ISO9001/ISO14000 certification. The solar panels can endure the harshest weather conditions and are highly resistant to tarnishing and contamination.

Each solar panel is equipped with bypass diodes which can prevent overvoltage in individual cells. In this way, loss of power due to possible shadow corrections is reduced to a minimum.

SUNCONTROL2

SUNCONTROL2 is the latest charge controller from NDS with separate inputs for two solar panels. Its MPPT technology allows it to maximize the energy of any type of solar panel (12V nominal) and perform state-of-the-art charging curves, even for LiFePO4 batteries.

The special Opticharge algorithm, developed by NDS, optimizes the charge according to the needs of the battery, thus prolonging its life.

SUNCONTROL2 is equipped with the new N-BUS communication protocol, compatible with Ci-Bus: you can now monitor, control and update all on-board equipment from a single NDS Controller.

N-BUS

N-BUS is the multidevice communication protocol developed entirely by NDS and compatible with CI-BUS.

With N-BUS, your power devices are connected to each other and exchange information for more efficient on-board power management. The networking of devices has many advantages, such as easy firmware updates and simplified operation with one simple interface.

MPPT

MPPT is the algorithm that allows you to always utilize the "Maximum Power Point" provided by the solar panel. A charge controller with MPPT technology is able to achieve significantly higher efficiency than PWM technology (up to 25% more).
