The NDS LIGHTSOLAR solar panel is available in 4 versions: 105W, 160W, 195W or 200W. This NDS solar panel is the ideal solution for applications where factors such as weight, thickness and strength are important. For example, on the roof of your RV or caravan or on deck aboard your yacht.
An aluminum sheet is placed in the lower part of the solar panel's structure to limit and dissipate the heat produced by the solar cells. This sheet also gives strength to the solar panel. In fact, it makes the solar panel so sturdy that it is possible to walk on the panel with soft footwear.
Resistant and self-repairing
The monocrystalline NDS LIGHTSOLAR solar panels consist of cells placed in a layered structure. The top layer is a plastic polymer (ETFE), which is weather-resistant and self-repairing.
This top layer of the solar panel, exposed to branches, hail, pointed surfaces or damage, can model itself and move back to its ideal shape to capture sun rays.
Note: Optionally, it is possible to expand the NDS LIGHTSOLAR solar panel with an 'installation kit', consisting of: a roof penetration kit and an MPPT SunControl2 (inverter), based on the SCE320M or SCE360M. Both based on the so-called N-BUS technology.

SUNCONTROL2 is the latest charge controller from NDS with separate inputs for two solar panels. Its MPPT technology allows it to maximize the energy of any type of solar panel (12V nominal) and perform state-of-the-art charging curves, even for LiFePO4 batteries.
The special Opticharge algorithm, developed by NDS, optimizes the charge according to the needs of the battery, thus prolonging its life.
SUNCONTROL2 is equipped with the new N-BUS communication protocol, compatible with Ci-Bus: you can now monitor, control and update all on-board equipment from a single NDS Controller.
N-BUS
N-BUS is the multidevice communication protocol developed entirely by NDS and compatible with CI-BUS.
With N-BUS, your power devices are connected to each other and exchange information for more efficient on-board power management. The networking of devices has many advantages, such as easy firmware updates and simplified operation with one simple interface.
MPPT
MPPT is the algorithm that allows you to always utilize the "Maximum Power Point" provided by the solar panel. A charge controller with MPPT technology is able to achieve significantly higher efficiency than PWM technology (up to 25% more).
