DiSEqC switch

DiSEqC switch, or Digital Satellite Equipment Control, required for the communication between the satellite receiver and dish antenna through a coax cable.

DiSEqC distinguishes different versions:

• DiSEqC 1.0, for changing between 4 satellites
• DiSEqC 1.1, for changing between max 16 satellites
• DiSEqC 1.2, for changing between max 16 satellites and the horizontal automatic satellite dish antenna control
• DiSEqC 2.0, adds bidirectional communication to DiSEqC 1.0
• DiSEqC 2.1, adss bidirectional communication to DiSEqC 1.1
• DiSEqC 2.2, addsbidirectional communication to DiSEqC 1.2
